I have been serving my little toushie off this week- annnnd I am looking for another job.
In other news, a supposed competing site for SG is apparently launching sometime soon- we all know what it is and we all know that it's been saying it's going to lauch for a long time. *sigh*
Personally, I think SG, no matter what, will always be the first that opened the doors to women with different forms of beauty. Looking at other sites there isn't the same "DIY" attitude of SG- it's corporate bullshit. However with corporate bullshit comes the money to pay models more- even if they are compromising their own integrity for the money.
One of the sites out there asks in detail on their ap your measurements, ink and piercings. Like that matters? Just because you have more tattoos than the girl next to you, doesn't make you more special.
What I really don't understand is the amount of girls who left SG to model at these sites. They are owned or have strong ties to huge porn conglomerates that exploit and demoralize women. Why would you undermine yourself like that? Furthur more, why would you leave a site that you once stood for only to go to a site that basically puts you down while shoving bills into your pockets to make you shut up?
Maybe I just don't get it. I just got frustrated when I saw one particular site's stupid myspace page which insighted this rant.

I think a lot of your questions can be answered by: teenage girl drama. 
Unfortunately a lot of the people involved are just barely into adulthood, and haven't learned maturity, much less professionalism.
