Blog homework- these photos represent what I am thankful for. Here you go @rambo and @missy
1: these are my best pals- I've known them for 5+ years and I am very thankful for them. They are incredibly supportive of my journey through SG and anything I do. Even though I don't see them as much, since I moved from VA to Alabama, they greet me with open arms everytime I do visit them. Did I mention they are incredibly talented?! (Epiphany, is there band. Based in RVA)
2: my loving boyfriend. He has been my rock and role model. We met though Instagram in 2013, through the "#btbam" hashtag (our favorite band ever) we hit it off so well, that I made the decision to move to Alabama from VA in 2015. He's helped me find confidence within myself and I helped him find HIS. I can go on and on but he really is my "...walking mirror, galaxy drifter..." ***side note, we actually won a contest for the band, Between the Buried and me aka btbam, was running by recreating their latest album cover. This was the winning photo ♥***
#3: SG!!! I AM EXTREMELY thankful for this community and to be a hopeful. My dream since I was in the 7th grade, was to become a coined SG. I wanted to represent this beautiful site for so long. When I turned in my application, almost a year in December, I was terrified of rejection. I honestly mustered up all the little confidence to turn in my app that rejection was going to kill me. To my surprise, WITHIN 12 HOURS I GOT THROUGH!!! I was shocked!!!!! This is the start of my dream becoming a reality. My debut set is my baby. I never thought to look so radiant and beautiful. The community here is SO LOVELY. SG is such a wonderful place to be apart of.
( Queen Serene can be viewed here! Show some love)
4: thankful for traveling. I am very thankful for having the ability to travel. My move to Alabama in 2015 opened up so many traveling opportunities. I never in my life thought I'd visit ATL, Nashville, Orlando, Navarre, Memphis etc...I've traveled so much since living down here. And I'm so damn grateful for that. (photo is of the ATL skyline) living three hours away from ATL is a huge perk too.
#5: my job. I am so lucky to have a job at the hospital. I went to school for pharmacy technology and graduated with a 4.0 and a national member of Phi Theta Kappa. I was offered a job at the pharmacy during my first ever clinical rotation. I was shocked and humbled. Not many people get offered a job during their first round of clinicals and not even graduated yet. I love working there. I compound I.Vs for a living and it's freaking awesome. But a huge responsibility. Your math has gotta be on point because if the dosage is incorrect, it could be a fatal mistake. Working one on one with drugs makes me feel like a scientist lol
