I have to say that I really appreciate the response I got to my last journal entry. I was just upset and feeling horrible and kind of ranting about it, not expecting anything in response to it except a couple of "hey, feel better"s and sad-face emoticons. But a number of you wrote me with really helpful, insightful advice and sympathy. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. There I was, wanting to say something about how internet interaction isn't real interaction, it's all just empty words from faceless people-- and you guys really proved me wrong. I'm going to write each of you individually, because you brought up points I'd like to dicuss further, but right now I'm just sending out some general love to you and people like you. Thank you.
In other news... I shot a new set last week. I've got sets planned out with several different wonderful photographers, but none of them live terribly close by, and it's been difficult to sych our schedules. But it's about damn time for you guys to see more of me-- so I shot one myself. Quality-wise, I think it's not as good as my last one (it's fucking HARD to shoot your own set!) but it's way hotter, because it was just me and my camera and I felt more comfortable-- well, you'll see. Hopefully.
Thanksgiving was pretty uneventfull. Did the double-dinner thing. My family makes awesome gourmet food and has good wine and assorted interesting random people show up-- but Adam's family all hug each other and seem happy to be around each other-- which is a really nice change. So I'm glad we got to do both.
