Oh god my feet hurt SO BAD. 8 hours on Monday, 11 1/2 hours yesterday and 10 hours today.... on my feet the WHOLE time, no lunch break, no rest... I need to get some better shoes. Or better posture. Or both.
The problem is that I'm doing the jobs of at least three people. Seriously. I'm not just saying that in the sense of the diversity of skills it requires... three people working there at once would all be busy the whole time. I'm the only one there. In the whole cafe (seven four-tops, a HUGE bar, plus all the carry outs and employee meals from the salon)
There's the Chef thing: ordering/ shopping (mostly shopping, we can't make the delivery minimum because we're too small), designing the menu and specials and figuring out presentation and pricing, prepping, preparing, etc. But I'm also the Coffee girl (full service coffee bar with espresso drinks and frozen drinks and smoothies) and the Bartender (luckily only a beer and wine liscence). Plus I have to clean the whole place and wash all the dishes by hand (no dishwasher). All this at the same time. From 9 AM to 8 PM. Jesus Fucking Christ.
But I'm making assloads of money and surrounded by EXTREMELY earnest praise (everyone REALLY hated the last chef, apparantly). They all keep begging me not to quit (uhh... I've been here three days!)
And I'm going to get my hair cut and colored for free (which I haven't been able to afford to do since I was 16 and my parents paid for it) and the massage girl offered to do me for free... in response to which A. said: "if you two have SEX, just make sure to take lots of pictures for me"...
Not that I would turn down THAT kind of massage, but right now I would honestly prefer a back rub...

Titus is totally kick-ass by the way.
