Quiet weekend really. Went out for a drink with a couple of friends in Bradford last night. Which was nice. Friday night I spent in for the first time in a very long time. Which was strange.
Other than that, spent most of my time playing on the Gamecube and watching dodgy horror B-movies (wanna see really crap acting, "schoolkids" who look at least 28 and an evil killer who kills his victims by ramming cobs of corn in their ears? Look up the film "Scarecrow" on Amazon)
This week doesn't exactly hold much potential for being exciting as I currently have no money. Though I'm off for a mate's birthday pub crawl on Thursday which will be the usual 12 hours of alcohol-fuelled nutjobbery. Fun.
One thing which has cheered me up a bit though was first rehearsal with my new band this afternoon and slugging our way through numerous mid-'90s indie moshpit classics plus chucking a couple of our own ideas into the mix here and there. It's weird playing "Everybody's Gone" by the Senseless Things again after so many years but hell, I enjoyed it.
Expect an update later in the week. Till then...
