Hello, Yorkie here. Just to let you know that yes I'm still out here and no I'm not dead. Had a fantastic weekend in London - will tell more in the next journal entry as four hours' sleep last night is currently playing havoc with my head. A big slice of Yorkshire pie though to anyone who I chatted do, drank with or gibbered drunkenly at
- it was great to see everyone again and make some new friends as well (requests in the post). 
Tomorrow I'm off to Northumberland for the rest of the week - given the whole "losing job and girlfriend on the same day" experience of Friday, I need a few days out of Dodge - although this break-up was a lot more civilised than most of the ones I've gone through (to cut a long story short she's found out her ex wants to get back with her and doesn't want to string me along - as such we're going back to being "just friends" as we were before) it still hurts. Also the lack of income means I could probably do with going somewhere free of financial temptation.

dodge? what is Dodge? is it a place you live? just had to ask, it made me laugh hysterically cause my best friend and i have this inside joke about "wanting to get tha fuck outta dodge" whenever we want to get away from somewhere....long story which is unfunny to others but hillarious to us. haha. dodge.
