Just a quick update this 'un as I'm off out in half an hour or so to my mate's band's gig. It may also be my last entry for a few days as I'm stupidly busy on evenings at the moment but rest assured I'll try and get another update done before the end of the week.
A few random thoughts:
* Wasted next week! Yay!
* Have you noticed how nobody has ever pointed a finger at Gwen Stefani and shouted "DEVIL WOMAN!" Well, nobody who's ever lived that is. Think about it - one minute she's the slightly scruffy but ever so lovable lead singer in an endearingly goofy ska-punk band, the next as if by magic she's been transformed into a sleek yuppy uberchav releasing fucking dreadful R&B/rap lite rubbish. Coincidence? HA!!
* I really need to get a job in an office which doesn't have "The Hits" (anagram) channel on the telly - I think it's warping my brain.
* I miss my girl.
* I need to try and magic 50 out of somewhere for Morecambe next week. This could be tricky but I'm sure I'll manage it somehow.
* Currently listening to "Up Around The Bend" by Hanoi Rocks. Which feckin' well rules.
* Three weeks after saying I was gonna put my music past behind me...and I'm starting a new band. Guess once the bug grips you it doesn't let go. Still, the new stuff I've written sounds fucking awesome so far - very Gold Blade influenced. Better get ready to testify kids, we're coming for yers!!
