MOOD: Good thanks.
LISTENING TO: Warrant - "Hollywood (So Far So Good)"
So I sent the articles off. And, unbelievably, they got accepted. Not only that but they've asked if I fancy becoming a regular contributor! It's official, I have officially made the leap from fanzine journo to glamzine journo. Today is a good day. And if things go well on this date next week it could potentially turn out to be a positively fiscal year.
It occurred to me yesterday that while I've been rushing around panicking these last few weeks, my three-year anniversary of being on this site has passed. Unlike previous years where I've just gone for the whole "ee, hasn't it changed round here?" approach, I've decided to go for a pic-related journal entry. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you - "Yorkie's Progress" - a sort of look at how things have developed over the last few years featuring yours truly and a cast of...ooh, several...

My profile pic when I first joined the site in 2003.

Christmas 2003. You looking at me?

The second SG meet I went to in Leeds, early 2004 (I didn't have me camera at the first one!). Me being drunk and fat.

My 24th birthday. This is what 20 pints can do to a bloke. I think I threw up just a few seconds later...

On stage with my old band, Brookside Riot Squad, summer 2004.

My first non-Leeds meet, Manchester, spring 2004. Top photo - Asha, Wrathchild and Perversia, bottom photo Perversia and myself.

Stoke-on-Trent meet, summer 2004. The T-shirt says it all. We had a good little crew of SG members down there a couple of years back, most of whom have since sadly moved on.

At daisystars' birthday in Manchester in summer 2004. L-R catcher, me, ex-members Fallen_Seraph and matt_organic.

Me and Caz throwing the horns at Download 2004.

If I had to choose a favourite moment of the last three years it'd definitely be Download - here's the full crew of us who went (except me as I was taking the pic!) Clockwise from left - Bodger0ne, Caz, Vicky, Nixxx, Nadine and ex-members MrMuddle and RGTroubadour.

Taken at the SG Burlesque show at the Scala, summer 2005. This pic still makes me laugh over a year later.

On my way to see LA Guns in Bradford last autumn. Goth-glam a-go-go!

Me and Burning_In_Water at the Ship a couple of months back. I think what he's saying is "dude, your camera flash isn't working"...

Me and Jackie having a "morning after the SG meet" moment in Camden.

...this being the night before...
(luckily due to the narrowness of these columns on this journal I appear to have escaped - you can see the full pic here.

Ah well, here's to another three years of quite blatantly not being sensible.
Hope everyone's okay.
