Argh, who changed everything around here?!
Well, aside from the fact that the site now appears to be near-impossible to navigate round, not a bad weekend all told. Went out Friday, saw Crystal Pistol at Rio's who were feckin' awesome. Support band Red Star Rebels were pretty damn good as well (think the Darkness if they'd grown up listening to Guns 'n' Roses instead of Queen) - I certainly wouldn't rule 'em out of going on to bigger things.
Saturday, I watched a football match which was good for ten minutes and rapidly petered out thereafter. Then I spent half an hour working off my tan and went to get drunk. Hard life eh?
Today has been spent being lazy - the planned demo recording session with the band didn't happen as our drummer (who's the one who has the 8-track) got called into work so it ended with me and our bass player sitting around in the attic with beer and smokables playing an acoustic version of "More Than A Feeling" by Boston. Ah well...our singer has now finished his exams so hopefully it'll be all systems go for us from now on.
Have re-designed the band's Myspace site yet again as the old design was shrinking all the writing and pics - go take a look!
I've also had an offer to move down and share a house with a mate in Brighton. On the plus side, it's a clean break from all the bad stuff which I now associate Leeds with in the wake of the last year and I know several people from this site living in the area so at least it won't be a case of moving to a place where I don't know anybody. On the minus side - for the first time in a long while I actually feel fairly content with my lot up here - I've got a job which I don't completely despise for the first time in ages and I really feel confident in this band now we've finally got up and going. Ah, decisions decisions...
Anyway, hope everyone's okay. I'm now gonna try and work out how you can view more than the three most recently updated of your friends' blogs on this bloody thing...

we had Matt for a while, but he's having to go off on tour, now we have a guy called Jack, who is working out quite well so far.
I saw the same lin-up last night, CP were cool, it was a good bill
I've heard a lot of good things about Crystal Pistol, I'll have to look into them.
You're in a bit of a dilema I'm of the mind that taking risks usualy pays off but its a tough one.
