I hate talking about things sometimes. Two things in particular. How I was raised , and Trans-Gender-ism. B/c its hard to get people to talk about it, around where I live, w/o getting to emtional.
I spent 3 hours last night talking to a room full of girls about Transgenderims. It started when I kept fucking up and calling a Girl who "Gender Idientifies" as a guy "she" instead of "he". Its wasn't like I was doing it on purpose but I would be in the middle of a thought/sentance and I would slip up and say "she". He/she got upset and they rallied and it was fun.
I am not made to deal with these kind of problems.
I tried to explain myself but that just fed the flame and made it worse.
Its not about acceptance its about understanding. I have zero problem with this. I support everyone's choice to act however they want to. I just dont understand.
I think gender is tied to the equipment you have. I think gender and sex are the same thing. I think that in those labels you can act any way you want. I dont feel that labels have done anything other than seperate people. In my limited understanding, Feminism movement started to make all genders equal. The 'gender doesn't matter' argument. Now its come all the way full circle and suddenly gender is the focus again. I think that some people are using this as a way of masking a bigger problem rather than deal with that problem.
The most vocal one, of course, completly disagreed. And got mad at me for not saying they were right. I love those converstions.
Its amaising to me, in the south, people called me gay and "a yankee" up here people say i'm really conservative and southern in the way I think. I dont get it.

Well, I can understand how someone would identify themselves as the opposite gender (i.e. feel like a woman trapped in a man's body or vice versa), but still use the gender pronoun appropriate to their genitals rather than the gender pronoun appropriate to their brain. For me to use the gender pronoun appropriate to their brain they have to be making a lot of effort to play the part or have had a sex change operation.
