My new laptop has made me start going out more, which is a good thing. I've also been on an editing kick recently, which is also a good thing (Though not as good a being on a writing kick). I've revised (or completely rewritten) four of my stories in the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping to go through and revisit the rest of them, see if I can't make one or two McSweeney's Quarterly worthy. (Answer: No.)
Been bored a lot recently. Been trying to cut down on my weed intake (moderately successful). This - along with the 7 cases of free beer I'm still working on - has made me drink more. I'm okay with this.
In other news, this girl situation is enormously obnoxious. There is a reason I avoid this sort of complication in my life: I'm not fond of it and it never ends well. This shit is starting to fuck up my *dreams* even.
Finally, Christopher Titus has the greatest stand up act of all time.

How does having a laptop encourage you to go out more? Sorry if that seems like an impertinent question. I don't mean anything by it. I am just curious.
Sorry that your girl situation is messing with your head! I hope it all gets resolved soon.
So why do you write about dysfunctional family relaionships? Do you have a personal reason or do you simply find family dynamics to be interesting?
