Did not get to eat steak last night. This makes me sad, since half price steak night is sort of the lynchpin that keeps my week together. Went to watch the Gunroom instead. Some of my friends have decided I need to hook up with someone, and have made seeing it happen a low-priority goal. A sweet sentiment and all, but Alls Quiet On The Dating Front is a decision rather than a situation. (No, really! Well, mostly.) I doubt their all that serious, especially considering my total lack of enthusiasm about the idea. There is a party on Sunday at their house, we'll see what happens.
Of course, my Ex is supposed to be coming to visit, even though I haven't heard from her since she said she was coming. Odds of her showing up: 35%. Though, if she does, I doubt I'll go to the aforemention party - dragging people to parties where they don't know anyone is often unfun. Should have a pretty packed weekend, actually. My Current Crush also has a friend coming from out of town (whom I know), so I'll be hanging out with them, as well.
Good thing this weekend is full, because my next four are *totally fucking ruined*. See, there's this type of class at U of M that meets from 5-8p on Friday and 8a-3p on Saturday, four times. Usually they meet once a month, but this bitch (who I hated from a previous class) is having us meet four weeks in a row. Every weekend in September is fucked.
To put an even better way: The next four weekends of college football are fucked. Luckily, at least three of the games are night games. I won't get to see U Mem at Ole Miss, but I might drive down for the UT game there.
In other school news, this should be a cakewalk semester. (Knock on wood) 7 hours. Other than the Class That Ate My Weekends, one of them meets two hours a week on alternating weeks and one meets on thursday nights. The thursday night class is all about technology, which is also a fucking joke. The only real time consuming part will probably be my field experience hours.
All in all, this will not do much for my already shitty attitude. I think I've already managed to piss off all of the professors in charge of student teaching. Woo.
