So, here I am at work again. No class tonight, so I'm able to go to trivia night at the P&H. Probably going to be our last hurrah, so we've stacked the team crazy well. I'm so looking forward to it.
Speaking of looking forward to things, I'm looking forward to the SGTN Camping Expedition far more than I'd expected. Shouldn't surprise me. I enjoy camping, drinking, and meeting new people. Perhaps its surprising because I'm such a lurker 'round these parts.
Weekend was acceptable. Did not get any writing done, which is sad. I also have officially lost my NaNoWriMo 2003 shirt, which is even *more* sad.
Friday I stayed home to write, managed to get out 5.5 pages (!). Stuff I was actually excited about writing, too, which is getting rare as this project drags on. Apparently I was supposed to meet The Girls downtown, and was chastized for standing them up. I informed them that I felt zero percent bad about it. Saturday and Sunday were both Going Out nights, though details are sketchy about Saturday. Not because I got hammered or anything, but just because it was sort of blank.
Ex came by yesterday to drop off clothes. An absolutely full garbage sack worth. Holy Shit(!). Still no $300.00, which only bothers me because I made great efforts to get her to not worry about it paying it, but she gave me this lecture about how it would make her feel uncomfortable. Whatever. I need to figure out a way to ask out her roommate for sheer awkward sake.
Oh! Ate dinner with my Mom and Stepdad on Sunday night, as well. Introduced them to Punk'd which, of course, they absolutely loved. They thought I was sick for enjoying watching Brandy cry. Maybe so. Still, hard to pass up fillets, wine, courvoisier, and terramassu (sp). Was 10% hung over on Monday which (no surprise) was enough to put me off running. What a sissy.
Still no food at the house. Almost out of dog food, so my hand might be forced tomorrow after class. I'll be nice to have food again.
