I'm in a pretty good mood all around. There was WAY more to do at work than I expected, but things will probably be a bit more stable there now that we've started to get some money in. Small business is fun! (No.)
Read a lot of _If The River Was Whiskey_ yesterday. Boyle is quite good. Short Stories (my favorite kind of reading), and damn good ones. I kept thinking of _Nine Stories_ while I was reading it, because that was the last time I read a story, enjoyed the hell out of a story, but just *knew* there were layers of it I just wasn't getting.
For someone who reads as much as me, I'm a total intellectual philistine.
went to Side Street for a sammich, then went to Boscos to meet up with people, including the Girl Who No Longer Has A Crush On Me. It turns out that when people are easy to bait, I end up baiting the hell out of them. People take shit (read: everything) way to seriously. Told them I'd go downtown with them tonight, but I'm 95% sure I'm going to not go. It's been a pretty hectic week, and I've gone out just about every night, so I think a nice Friday night at home will be good for me. (Maybe even get some writing done)
It will also be good to give Haplo (my dog) some running around time. I've been a less-than-stellar Doggy Daddy this week.
Tomorrow I have a fuck ton of homework to do. Might go play poker or cook steaks or something after - still up in the air. Put in an order for an unreasonably large amount of valium, with the hopes of getting enough to last me through November. (NaNoWriMo is prime self medication season)
Tonight, other than writing, I'm probably going to smoke the last of my superior quality weed and experiment with the four new Stardock games that were released this week. Tremendously lame, but I'm looking forward to it.
I might even get around to going grocery shopping this week. Wouldn't that be grand?

Wow... NaNoWriMo's really getting close, isn't it? (Strangely enough, I'm wearing the 2003 NaNoWriMo shirt. Second year I participated, first year I didn't finish...)
