Can't really complain about the week. In fact, I'd say it's almost like a cherub that shits rainbows has taken up living in my house.
Yesterday two packages came in.
Package #1: Dark Tower Book 6
Package #2: Seasons 1-7 of Buffy on DVD
Odd (or perhaps sad) that these two things can totally undo the strange crisis mode I was in earlier this week. (Perhaps "undo" is too strong. Let's try "delay.")
Turns out I'm going to be able to see TMBG after all, which adds to happytasticness. Laid down $36.00 for their last four albums in MP3. Hell of a deal, I think. Not bad, but it's a little overproduced. . . Instrumentation sometimes overwhelms the vocals.
Tonight I'll be eating 2 for 1 steaks with friends or eating all you can eat sushi with a book. Either one is fine with me, actually. The only really sad part is that I'm stuck in a boring ass research class for four hours in the middle of the day.
Going out so much is, in fact, a little to expensive for me, but I feel it's worth it. Once summer passes, a few of my friends move away, and the nights get longer I'll save quite a bit of money by throwing myself even more fully at finishing my novel and getting ready for NaNo in November. Scotch, Wine, Valium, and Weed expenditures will go up, but Going Out To Eat And Drink expenses will fall dramatically. Overall savings in money should occur.
Maybe I'll even luck out and get a job with the school system around here by then.
Oh, yeah, and it turns out the wedding is on August 16th. Dunno how long I'll stay up there, but I'm going to try to make it at least two full days. Going to have to try to find a place to stay on Friday, but I can't imagine that will be too difficult - I know more people in Knoxvegas than I do in Memphis.

Nickelodeon use to have a lot of really cool shows back in the day. I remember when they use to play animated movies on the weekends.
Then again I remember back when I use to watch Strange Planet on Night Flite.
Damn. Now I feel old.
