The responsible man who get's a taxi home rather than driving his booze fuelled death wagon never makes the news. No one want's to know good news, like the woman who goes to ask her 78 year old neighbour if she want's anything from the shops as she is going today and it would be no hassle if she did want anything.
What makes the news is "Man drives Booze Fuelled Death Wagon into House. 78 year old woman killed." Is it the news companies that are wrong, or are they just pandering to a demand for bad news? No one likes good news, people just accept it. Bad news makes everyone wake up and pay attention. Suddenly they have a cause to fight for.
I'm just as guilty as anyone else. I am human after all. When disaster strikes, you should see the smile on my face. The fake empathy to make friends and the crocodile tears to enforce the fake beliefs.
I'M BETTER THAN YOU.
