Ah yes. things are finally coming together. I have to call Ben over at Lone Wolf and set my apt. for the tat. Either the sixth of the thirteenth. Man, an estimated 5-6 hours, but I guess one must suffer for ones chosen art. The sad thing is that even before I know whether I'll ever want to endure the needle again, I have 4 or 5 more in planning. I found one I want for a back piece but I wanna lose some weight first.
I must praise Ben, the price he gave me is quite a lot cheaper than I had expected. A friend of mine paid more to get a little 2x4 inch dragon on his arm and 3 stars around his elbow, all basic black. Mine will take at least 4 times as much ink, mad shading, color, and tons more time. But I'm getting out cheaper
Of course that was in Cali, but still... I guess he got ripped.
I finally convinced my sisters to reign in their little friend before she gets me arrested
(If you didn't see, don't ask.
I'm stuck with Gibson until spring registration at least now.
Oh well, this just means I'll get my year in, which means I'll be able to buy guitars from the factory (probably one I worked on) at the ever lovely dealer price.
okay, say it with me, Resale. Thats one of the first things my shift supervisor in buffing told me, buy it at dealer price, turn around and sell it on Ebay for a couple of grand profit. Come January I might be taking orders

I found out today that I am getting a second raise.
it seems that they finally decided to give me my 90 day review+raise that I was supposed to get 4 months ago. AND rather than it being applied on my next check, both it and the 5% we got from big man is gonna be put into effect next check, but will include effective back pay for the last two weeks.
I was at work for about 30 minutes and decided I just wasn't feeling it so I took the day off. A friend who runs a bike shop owed me a favor, so I took a bike out for ride. I havent ridden a crotch rocket in a long time. I think it was a kz1000 or some other ridiculously over powered sled. So I spent the day popping accidental wheelies every time I gassed it, and speeding down curvy country roads.
I really need to save my vacation days and go get my bike outta storage. Its been almost a year since I rode last and I truly miss it.
Damn, all those vibrations made my ribs hurt like a true bi atch. But it was worth it.
Oh well, time to go hunt an online translator that handles Latin.
Here's to fast bikes, curvy roads, and the girls who lust after the guys who ride the former on the latter.
