Been a while since I updated but it's not like anyone ever reads my page anyway. Life, after up then down then back up and then really far down again, has finally risen back to a point where I'm *gasps* happy. The last five or so years have been a real bitch; I had nine friends die, NINE. I was forced to leave the woman I loved and was going to marry and move 3/4s of the way across the country and, although I wouldn't find out until a year later, she was pregnant and lost the baby due to the abusive SOAB she fell in with. I got back here and my last friend shot himself while I was on the phone with him.
I admit.. after all of that.. I was very much suicidal. Before I enacted a 'permanent solution for a temporary problem' I met, online, one of the most wonderful people in the world. We clicked instantly, it was as if we'd been friends all our lives. I fell in love with her.. I fell hard. We talked about it and she's simply the love I couldn't have. Aside from getting me to promise to no go off and off myself, she stayed my closest friend through the love thing and refused to let me give up hope on finding love again.
That was all between 5 years ago with the first death and a little over a year ago when David shot himself and I met Chrissy online. Since then I've had my ups; getting a job at Gibson building guitars, and my downs; getting hurt at said job and ending up settling for about 25% of what I should have gotten.
Fate has been a real cunt for most of those five years, taking me just high enough that I start to smile and hope again and then dropping my back on the waiting rocks. I had the best friends and a great girl and lost them I found another love . . and couldn't have it, I found a great job . . . that nearly crippled me. I'm still here though.
What I've found now however, make all the pain and misery worth it. I found a great girl that I love and that loves me. She lives across the country right now but she'll visit in April and IF everything is good (i.e. I've managed to get a decent job and stash enough money to move) I'll move out there to be with her. Brandon has finally agreed to apprentice me (piercing) as soon as the new shop (here in Nashville) gets busy. They've only been open a month or so, and where they're at, in the middle of downtown, they don't exactly get a lot of foot traffic and word of mouth hasn't really spread yet. Never the less though one way or another.. I WILL learn to pierce damn it. I don't draw well enough to tattoo, nor could my wrists take it I think, but I can damn sure poke holes in people. While I admit that they are no great thing, I have done a few piercings on myself. (just cause if anyone is shoving a needle in my balls it'll be ME, lol)
All in all.. I'm a happy camper once again. *smiles*
