I just brought an electronic drum kit last week. They totally kick ass. Of course they are Roland V-Drums, I wouldn't touch the other poo on the market.
Fun times ahead. It's awesome to bash away at these things at midnight, and not disturb the neighbours... I used to play drums about 5 years ago, but that was before I moved to Sydney, and I lived in the sticks out west. I obviously had to sell my cheap ass drum kit back then, because they are not practical when you are living in an apartment block. But electronic... oh yeah... Roland mesh head V-Drums totally rock, they feel like proper drums. The sounds are pretty good too.
Oh listen to me waffle on. I'm such a kid. I luuuuurve the toys.
