Hmmm... I took the day off work today. No reason really other than the fact that I am a lazy son of a bitch. There is a lot of stuff I am supposed to be doing at work at the moment, but I really cannot be fucked doing it. I usually just end up gazing blankly at my computer screen thinking of other things to occupy my work day.
I went to the races on Saturday. Good old Randwick. I am not a gambler. I did not even place a single bet. I just went o hang out with a couple of my friends. Neither of them bet either. So imagine that... three non gamblers went to the races to do nothing but drink, chat, and watch all the over-dressed women parading for the pseudo "high roller" metros that seemed to saturate the place. My friend actually had some chick come up to him out of nowhere and ask for his number. I've never seen that happen before. No introduction, no smile from a distance, just came straight up to him with the opening line "Can I have your number". It's nice to know that my friends are not desperados, because he did not give this girl his number. He just made up a number on the spot. Eat shit stupid races slut. You smell funny.
That night we went to Newtown, and got kicked out of the pub. God knows why. I asked the bouncer, and he told me he didn't know, he was just following orders, and then pat me on the back. What the fuck is that? Oh well, we had a good drink though, we were kicked out at about 3am. I guess we were drunk, but none of us are disorderly drunks.
Damn. I don't want to go to work tomorrow either. I have about 7 weeks holidays saved up, but don't know when to use them.
Started recording some new music today, it's coming along ok.
I brought the boxed set for A Nightmare On Elm Street 1 - 3 last week, and watched number 2 today. It has interviews with the director and writer, and it is funny that they acknowledge what a homo-erotic film this is! Apparently they had no intentions for it to seem so gay, but they do not deny that many of the scenes portray the main character, Jesse as being gay. It's very funny. I haven't seen it in years, so it was good to see it again. We will watch number three sometime during the week. It's been years since I have watched it too.
