Actually happened: A few months ago a black man, a Hispanic man, and I helped an Asian man who lost control of his car on a freeway ramp and spun out. Together, we pushed it off to the side of the road, so he could safely get help. It was like a poorly advised ad for racial harmony that still manages to be racist.

I miss staff review too for the reasons you stated above, plus I miss the excitement of seeing a new set on the front page that yknow I haven't already seen before, lol. But it seems as though MR is the only way to go pink these days. And if you do have a set accepted through SR the queue to have it go up is apparently even longer than the MR wait time.
I know that when I spoke with Holley about SR vs MR she was saying SG staff is sorta phasing out SR altogether. I know for me, I'd like to be paid of course, and go pink (that would be ideal!) -- Plus in addition to getting paid once your set is bought, you get a lot more traffic to your blog & the website sorta opens up doors to you meeting other creative types & can help you gain exposure as an alt model/get your art and ideas out there, if you know what I mean. x

Thanks, I agree with you on most of' this and I was really upset about MR for a while, especially coming in at the turning point of all this in 2008. When the second chance sunday deal was about to turn into memeber review. When I first signed up my set was chosen by staff review, that's rarley hapened in the last three years now, and my sets will only now get chosen through MR which means I have to make safe massively appealing sets, that arent me, to get anything live (the only reason my set went up today is because so many models have been complaining about MR not allowing different or creative sets to go up, so they started a "creative set weekend" thing where the SG's vote the most different sets to go live, that wouldnt stand a chance in the "MOAR TITS AND PSFB" MR mindset.)
Sg is so large and the brand has so much value and recognition that they can manipulate the models to get free content, because so many alt girls want to be associated with the brand, it's really smart for the company to take advantage of that at no cost, although as a model I dont like it, I cant blaim them.
Alot of girls do SG just for fun and for the community, creativity and (not gonna lie) the attention more then to get sets bought, I mean it's a lovely perk but in all honesty I can make $500 working a freelance job for three days, its nice money, but it's done more for personal gratification. I figure when ever I do a set, the least I get out of it is one or two clothed pictures for my port and resell it and it easily goes up on zivity and get some money, the best it goes live here and I get some money, win-win.

I have the same sort of thing about atheism. Glib atheists who take cheap shots at religions upon which they clearly don't have even a cursory knowledge don't really help the cause.
