So a while ago, on a whim, I signed up for an OKCupid profile and then promptly forgot about it.
Recently, they sent me an email. Someone rated me positively or something. So I went back to the site and started browsing around. I stumbled across one girl who really caught my eye.
Unfortunately, right at the beginning of her profile she mentions that she has kids. So I'm out. But I kept reading her profile anyway, because she was cute and her profile was actually interesting and funny. She cracked a few jokes that actually made me laugh, and clearly had a lot of shared interests with me.
At the bottom of her profile, she had a link to some website that lets you set up your own playlist for other people to experience. Like your own radio station, sort of. So I went to check that out. And on that site, she had a link to her blog. And on that blog, she had a video of her just talking.
It was at this point that I realized that she's the same fucking chick I stalked over a year ago.
Okay, stalk might be a bit strong. I Googled her. But it was sort of cyberstalking. So I wrote that off, and now a year and a half later I managed to inadvertently cyberstalk her again.
It's a good thing I don't believe in fate.
(And it's a good thing I didn't get involved with this girl. She's cute, funny, and seems really cool, but she's a walking disaster. She'd be cool to have as a friend, I suppose, but definitely not someone I'd want to feel responsible for.)

I would rather see someone say "i don't want kids" and stick to their guns rather than be miserable and/or raise a child in such a manner the kid just becomes useless to society. I would really like to see people put more thought into it like you do (not saying either of those situations apply to you)
and dating walking disasters is fun, it makes you realize how sane and responsible you are.
