It's nice when a Suicide Girl becomes really popular and you can tell she becomes very confident in herself, and starts feeling more expressive, and you can, as much as you can over the Internet, get to know the girl behind the pictures.
But I will say that I like it best when a girl isn't quite so popular that she's generally tired of reading comments from strangers. That's not to say I blame them - I would, too - just that the circumstances causing that reaction are less than ideal. I like Suicide Girls who will engage in conversation.
Really, though, the only reason I'm talking about this is because I made a very clever joke and it went unrecognized because it got lost in the void.
Right here in Sash's blog.
THIS IS PURE GOLD I'M GIVING YOU, PEOPLE! JEEZ!
(Also, it's been two weeks since my last blog.)
On an unrelated note, here's an old picture I found in my album that still made me laugh:

Oh, right, life updates.
Uh, turned twenty-eight over the weekend. Yeah, <shrug>, not a real birthday. I subscribe to the Patton Oswalt birthday-rationing rules: 1-10, 12, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 30, 40, 50, 60, etc. Still, I did have a bunch of people over and a good time was had. Did some Rock Band. My kick pedal broke.
My METAL PLATED kick pedal. It broke. BAH. So no Rock Band until I get it fixed or replaced. (Yes, as far as I'm concerned, drums = Rock Band. Other instruments don't count.)
Cat's still here. Being cat-like. Doing cat stuff. She likes to meow loudly and sadly when I leave her in the other room. But if I bring her in here, she just wanders out there and starts up again. If I go out there, she just lays on the floor and ignores me. Women. I mean- Cats.
D&D session tomorrow. Really liking 4th Edition. Really liking my Shadar-Kai Swordmage as well. I am one resilient tank. The ability to teleport and turn insubstantial for a turn one per encounter has been pretty close to invaluable. I do shit for damage, but hey, that's what the Barbarian is for. I'll leave the mindless face-ownage to him while I control the battlefield and make the DM sigh despondently as he wastes attacks against me.

I also bet that's the first time you have gotten to comfort a girl with that phrase.
