Good weekend. Saturday I went to my brother's girlfriend's divorce party. It's complicated. But as of now, she's a somewhat less dishonest woman.
It was at a bar they frequent with karaoke on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I'd been once before and had my first karaoke singing experience, this was the second. I did "No One Knows" by Queens of the Stone Age, "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots, and "Come Together" by The Beatles. I can sing when I pick a song within my range (e.g. those just named), so I got pretty good reactions. I always get the best reaction to Plush. Maybe my voice is just deeper so it suits it better, I don't know. But random fist-bumps and strangers yelling "Wooo!" abound.
Sunday I just sat around, never put on shoes, played some video games, did some laundry, whatever the hell else you white people do. I really like being able to take a day like that, and it's been a while. Unfortunately, I appear to have contracted some sort of mild bronchitis that began to manifest that day. Just a mild cough, today it's getting a bit more severe. I'm hoping it calms down by tomorrow. I love Autumn and Winter, but this always happens to me around this time of year. Even since I contracted pneumonia as a little kid, I've had this annual reminder, "Hey, remember that? That sucked, didn't it?"
