The latest episode of South Park seems to have been partially inspired by my life.
It mentions my town by name as the most horrible, most miserable place on Earth. At least, that's how the goth kids describe it.
Back in early college and late high school, my two best friends and I would hang out in Denny's largely because there was no other place to go. Eventually, we noticed that there was a closer place that had slightly better food. Village Inn. We sort of became regulars there. Our visits there were weekly or even more frequent.
Village Inn is specifically displayed as the hangout of the goth crew. I didn't even realize it was a nationwide chain.
The only thing is that we actually ordered food and tipped, so they were fine with us there.
But man. Close to home. You can watch it here.
