Yup, not asking her. Saw her around some friends, not my kind of people. Different values.

I learned a little while ago that it's not having superficial stuff in common that makes you compatible. It's having values in common. I had a great deal in common with my last girlfriend, but we constantly clashed because we disagreed over basic values.

I like the truth no matter what. She wanted lies that'd make her happy. I'm not being unfair, those are her words. Also, she liked The Secret.

There are other reasons it didn't work, but I think those could've been worked around if I could have actually had an honest dialog with her about them. But that's not how she operated, so I couldn't and it didn't. It was a good learning experience and showed me how to spot good matches or potential difficulty in others.

Comic book chick is, I think, a similar case. I think we would have one or two superficial things in common. Beyond that, everything I've perceived seems to indicate we wouldn't work well at all.

So, moving on then...
