The weekend, yay!! It's super nice outside, but WAY FRIGGIN COLD!!! It was warmer at 8 this morning on my way to work than it was at 1:30 on the way home. Crazy.
Yesterday was a wonderful time of doing absolutely nothing. I finished Pi, which was a disturbing but amazing movie. And although Dune is a fabulous book, it is a TERRIBLE movie!!! It followed the book fairly well, except for a few blatant errors (namely the death of the Baron, which didn't happen), but the "special effects" were so awful. I had to force myself to finish it.
Well, I should go home and take a nappy, and clean the hizzy up a bit. Bladesmith is coming down later to watch some movies, so I need to make it hospitable. Mostly taking out trash and clearing paths to walk through. Ugh, I don't wanna ride my bike anymore.

And then there's the Sci-Fi channel mini-series that came out a couple years ago. (which I heard was closer to the books)
I vaguely remember seeing parts of the movie when I was maybe 7...but haven't sat and watched the whole thing.
