I took my cat to the vet yesterday and had to leave him there for the whole day. I can't believe how lonely and miserable I felt without him, even though it was only for a day! As it turns out, my cat has UTI (urinary tract infection) with trace amounts of crystals in his urine. The good thing is he doesn't need any surgery, but he does need to take antibiotic pills for 7 days and start a new long-term diet. I was relieved to see him back and realized how very important he is in my life. I mentioned this to the girl I dated last Friday through text who was equally relieved, but had to decline on my offer to take her out to see Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome for Wednesday night. I guess that'll be the last message I'll ever receive from her.
