Alohra once told me that if she could pick a place to spend all eternity in, it would be the Pompadeu (sp?) Center in Paris. I've decided that if I had to pick a place to spend all eternity, it would be a tie between (1) Boy's bed watching Adult Swim while eating junk food and getting high, and (2) the flea market.
I love the flea market! Where does all the stuff come from? Where are the ghosts that belonged to it? And how did all these skeezy folks get their hands on it?
I've decided that I am going to decorate my someday house in all flea market things. Old tiffany lampshades, glass doorknobs, torn up velvet curtains, weird Catholic stuff, blue glass bottles, ladies hats with fake birds on them. None of the dishes or silverware will match, and my kids will have creepy vintage barbies and Kewpie dolls to play with. It will be very Weetzi-Bat esque and so cool. Then when I am old I will sell it all to the flea market!
Possesion is a funny thing. I think possesing is the kind of mentality thats been leading me into trouble with Boy these days. And I've been sorting through old clothes to take the the thrift store, and its funny how hard it is to let go of things that no longer serve a function. And I realize that my whole life I've always owned something. What would it be like to have nothing? No closet full of memories, no stuff to move from house to house?
But dont worry, I'm not going to become a Jesuit priest or anything.
In case you're bored of my long journal entry, here are some highlights:
-Went to SF, rode the train, went to Tilden park and rode the little train and carousel there
-Spending most of my days being fabulous with lessthanthree
-Boy got a new car (which is the same as my parents car that I drive, weird! :kiss and now we are planning big adventures
<I would be taking pictures, but my camera eats my batteries. :menstruation: >
