Well, the school year's done and I'm back home for 5 weeks of lazy sunny vacation. Hooray! I made it though my first year of college without any major disasters. 
This weekend I got to spend some time with the other man in my life ... my dad, who drove up to get me. I wanted to impress him with my hipness and knowledge of the city, so took him around to art galleries and bookstores and coffeeshops. It's nice to have someone take you out for dinner!
The drive home was nice. We listened to all this classic rock and motown and celtic and bluegrass stuff from when I was a kid. I love driving along the 5, looking out the window of the car and watching the landscape change. As the trees dissapear I know I'm closer to home.
I can't wait to see lessthanthree and hang out and rock the bay area; see some sci-fi flicks with Boy and unpack. I doubt I'll be on much but you'll see me (rather, read me) more when I'm back in the city and have wireless again.
