It doesnt have to be that way
Today my rommate's bf gave me the peice of advice with which i titled this entry. He must have heard me sniffling last night after a heavy heavy concersation. It meant a lot to me that someone who doesnt know me so well cared enough to pass this along to me. Take it for whatever it might mean to you.
I had one of those busy but good days that are happening more and more often. Maybe this no refined sugar thing, or early bedtime thing, is working out for me.
Good Things -
-It was so so sunny, and everyone was out on the lawn laying and eating and playing volley ball and reading. The Idyllic college experience has returned with the weather, (knock on wood) at least til it rains again.
-I got a bag of porcelain to start throwing with, and saw Scylla in the art building for a bit
-Lila's family said I was pretty, it was a blushworthy compliment
-My new septum piercing was well recieved by all who mentioned it
-Im optimistic about psych, spanish (we're reading Pablo Neruda, 20 canciones de amor seems very relevant to my life these days) and summer jobs.
-Ate sushi with Alli and Alohra and saw Constantine. I love weird Catholic stuff.
-Yesterday on the way to the piercing shop we stopped at this international food market and they had pan dulce (this mexican bread/pastry stuff thats so good) and I bought some santeria candles too
-I got another package in the mail today, the rest of my matboard, and also some checks for screen printeing and stuff ($$!)
good good good.

excuse me for being lame, but what is a septum?

I don't know how relevant this is, but I had a girlfriend when I went away to college. By the time I came home for fall break, she had left me for a 23 year old homeless guy. It sucked, but I realized pretty quick that it wasn't the end of the world, and it fact it was pretty liberating. In the end, I was much happier.
