So tired ...
Graduation was frought with cliche (suprise suprise). Yes, I too will follow my dreams and passions, support public schools, keep memories that will last for a lifetime and use the tools to succeed ... My mom and sister were going to play cliche bingo in the stands to keep from dying of boredom.
My hat kept coming off, and the girl who sings the nation anthem at every school function sang it once more. I told the girl next to me 'at least its for the last time. Her response - 'nope. 10 year reunion.'
The boy yelled 'take it off !!!' when i got my 'diploma,' which was actually an empty case for it when it comes in the mail ... the girl infront of me tripped a little ... I lost my hat when i threw it up in the air, so i took someone else's ... but my friends came and Cat brought me flowers, she is great.
Went to grad night, which is this all-night post-graduation party thrown by HS parents to keep their kids from getting really wasted. Clever clever. They really go all out tho and it was quite an event. They had a hypnotist, man that was hilarious. I want to be a professional hypnotist too so I can manipulate others with the powers of suggestion.
All the same, I hate those end-of-the-year events, they make me depressed. I would have much preferred to just lay on my futon and let the aphrodisiac properties of sushi, chocolate, and champagne (and knowing that finally, my peers too are free from the clutches of the public school system - now that's a turn-on) kick in.
In other news, moving out for real began today. *Sigh.*
And no, i didn't flash the audience, although I considered it. I guess i missed my last chance to expose myself at a school event. Damn.
