had a job interview to be a camp counselor today - its out in the redwoods by the coast - so pretty - made me want to work there even more! I hope the fact that when I was a camper there I kissed boys (boys plural!) won't affect my summer job prospects there ... My lil sister is applying for junior counseling so I drove up with my family. Then we all went to Bodega Bay to hike and go to the fisherman's festival. It was really a trip back in time ... and I got a snow cone, saltwater taffy, a pretzel, and a portabello mushroom sandwich with orgasmic honey-ginger lemonade out of the bargain. I'm always down for free food. I've come to realize that I really like spending time with my family now that I don't live with them. I think it's the relief of not having any of their responsibilities pinned on me - I have my own now - and I feel like less of a burden to them. Although I will soon be a big fat finacial burden for the next four years ... but I'm guessing they like that more than me saying 'fuck college' and joining a troop of traveling acrobats.
