hey hey my my rock and roll will never die. my work is killing me, but i love it. i just spent five days in los angeles listening to bands and editing a music video, and i just flew today from lost angels city to boston. who knew i was such a jetsetter. i'm miss st. louis but can't complain about a summer in which i spent two months in vancouver, toronto, los angeles, portland, chicago, louisville, new york, boston and salt lake city. whew.
okay, my morning jacket and centro-matic are my two favorite bands alive at the moment. as lily taylor said about her unrequired joe in 'say anything,' "they invade my skull."
cheers

Well, if you download 'Hollywood Hills' via their site http://www.dawnofthereplicants.com that has some cool clarinet on it. Don't think any of those ones have theremin on them though.
"i just came back from london and edinburg, where i spent almost a month. it was my fifth trip, and i swear the next time i'm not coming back. i have a major crush on edinburg."
Yes it's a cool cool city, if I say so myself.
"by the way, i co-own a little indie label that has some music you might like (this is truly not meant to be a commercial plug - feel free to download the stuff for free if you like). most of it is distinctly american, but we're all hugely influenced by u.k. music and you might hear it in much of the bands on my label. www.undertowmusic.com"
Hey, you have American Music Club on your label! My ex boyfriend was into them. I've got a distant memory of thinking they were a bit like The Smiths but with darker music. Or am I getting mixed up with somebody else? I'll check out some tunes tomorrow.
Hey, if you like Dawn Of The Replicants you should put them out in the states. Heh heh.
"oh yeah, and i like your pic : )"
Thanks. Your pic reminds me a bit of a much younger Kevin Coyne (if I have his name right) from Flaming Lips.
