HOLY SHIT! What a fucking week! - no boring ass details but I worked my ass off! Literally! It's gone! Late hours and the pooch was not happy!
Beautiful weekend here in Seattle...got some plans in the works. Urge Overkill is back together and playing the The Graceland tomorrow night. Yeah, they did start to go downhill a bit after their last album, but the earlier stuff is gold! I'll be hanging with some friends at the show that I haven't seen in a while - Looking forward to a good show, good tunes and many beers...
Finally, I have decided to get off my ass and start on my animation project - and to get back into drawing period! And I'm looking on collaborating on a web site with a friend of mine...we've yet to decide on a direction, but ideas are being kicked. Christ. I've let myself slip for a long time. The last serious work of art I did, for strictly pleasure, was my tattoo design To be honest, a lot of it has to do with all the talented people crawling around this site. I know I can do it too, but I've come to realization that it's time for me to put up or shut up!
[This just in] Skinny Puppy is scheduled to play the Showbox in Seattle on June 12th! I cannot describe how happy I am right now.
end of line.

John Copeland - says he gets his ideas from his journals, which he's been keeping since 1996 (20+ of 'em now). His journals are one of the best parts of his site, so go ahead and enjoy!

That being said... YES! Get off your butt and start something creative again! Creativity, and art itself, are the fuel of the soul! Without it, in it's many incarnations, life as we know it would not exist. So go out and be imaginative. Birth something from your intellect and wandering id. Go! NOW!
And btw... I dig the tattoo. Reminds me of this Cthulhu peice I've been bouncing around in my head for awhile. I've got so many ideas for tattoos and no money. Time for a second job!
