Beautiful day! I'm not all that hungover, took a nice walk with the pooch, and picked up some new tunes (Von Bondies, Postal Service, Radio Nationals). Not bad so far. Going to head downtown for a bit and maybe go for a run later. No plans...I like that.
Update:
Von Bondies: Fuckin' Rock!
Radio Nationals: Rock, but in a different way.
Postal Service: Jury still out.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Radio National's "Golden" - gives me the music goosebumps
Update...again:
I had plans for tonight, but they all fell through. Except for one...Bobbby Bare, Jr., gave an acoustic perfomance in Ballard - It kicked ASS! Brilliant! Not only was his performance astounding, but a little group called 'Smoosh' went on before him and were really quite good. At this point I should point out that 'Smoosh' are actually two sisters, 10 and 12(guessing their age, but not off by more than 2 years either way). They were really good! I couldn't believe the lyrics that she was belting out! I wouldn't be surprised to see them making a name for themselves 4 or 5 years from now

An oldie, but a kick ass goodie: My Pet Skeleton
Still pretty damn good, even though he made the site 2 or 3 years ago. I never noticed, but he did a cover for rue-morgue magazine - ZOMBIEQUEEN works there
--------------------
I'm an angel who'se had his wings clipped - an angel in devil's boots
AN ANGEL IN DEVIL's BOOTS?
Sling-back pumps for a cloven hoof
Someone's tied TIN CANS TO MY TAIL
Someone's always driving in ONE LAST NAIL
I'm trying to use my halo as a life preserver but it's sprung a leak
THIS IS HOLY MURDER
I'm watching my life swirl DOWN THE DRAIN
And I feel about as ABEL AS CAIN
But I guess that that's the PRICE OF FAME

I will, on occasion, see shadow dogs (or animals) skittering on the edge of my vision. I waver between blaming psychosis and one of my old dogs popping by for a visit.
I'm pleased to say that the thread I was quoting had slid virtually unnoticed onto page two, the last time I checked. The Music boards are so much more fun...
