Have you ever been in a pub on your own waiting for friends to arrive for atleast an hour? I guess it was one of those days where communication was academic when it came to the flow of things everyone was 5 seconds behind the next and Conjuring a strong dose of murphys law all around.
Never have i been bothered by being in pub on my own but i know it would bother most people, feeling that more distant from what is vaguely called reality and may aswell be a Ghost. The Flapper & Firkin of course has benches outside next to the Canal which was deserted. It's Suprising How Enjoyable it can be with only your cigerettes and abstract thoughts.
I could probably write a movie script on the detail i thought about on some magic trousers called Dave (inspired by Bottom).
..Of course the Bastards turned up an hour later (ie friends)...

I hate that. It's acturally one of my fears, to become one of those people who are alone in the pub. I live by the fact its always better to be late that on time just out of fear
