I didn't get any response on the best John Farnham song...I'd have to assume then its, thats Freedom, Two Strong Hearts, Burn for you, Take the Pressure Down, Sadie the Cleaning Lady, Whispering Jack...oh!
All grown-up with a mortgage, hmm, it does look that way; i had little choice in the matter really. I think will have to take on adulthood-type responsibility at some time, you either embrace it or fall into it like a victim of circumstance. I think I'm the latter...
Have you seen ray yet? Seeing Jamie foxx received a Grammy, you probably have, I just got it on DVD and it is incredible. Not only do I love Ray Charles' music (except that awful pedestrian posthumous album with Willie Nelson et al) so to get an insight into how he spliced rnb with gospel in order to find his own voice and move away from sounding like a Nat King Cole copy, how he adapted his blindness into an advantage, his heroin use and his struggle with chilhood demons along with his rocky relationship tales...it would be harder to find a richer story with a more insightful subject. Oh its that good.
Has anyone heard 'the weekend'?
Power chords, female singer...perhaps like crossing Transvision Vamp with a modern punk/pop band. the album is called 'Beatbox my Heart'.
