2,752 people died this day, five years ago. And I think the films based on it came too soon. But I hear that alot of Americans don't agree. They think it's good for the healing process. ...that's a big wound to heal.
But worse has happened. Thousands of people starve to death because MEDCs keep LEDCs in debt. Paying them back causes more debt. And if we (MEDCs) just dropped it, these countries would be able to use the huge amounts of money to solve other problems associated with them. Crime, healthcare, equal opportunities, fair labour. You know there's enough food on the planet to feed every single human being 3 times over. We should take a lesson from our childhood: Share.
There was Genocide in Rwanda in 1994. Around 800,000 Rwandans were killed in the space of 100 days. The UN didn't help. They didn't want to. That's why they wouldn't call this abomination a genocide-because if they had catagorized it as such, they would have had to help. The United States had experienced trouble in Somalia shortly before the Genocide, and President Clinton decided not to get involved in the "local" conflict in Rwanda (a decision which he later said he regrets).

In Manchester UK in 1993 a 2 year old boy was abducted from his mother's company by 2 10 year old boys. One of the boys threw blue modelling paint on the toddler's face. They kicked him and hit him with bricks, stones and a 22 lb iron bar. Apparently they also molested him and placed batteries in his mouth. Before they left him, the boys laid him across the train tracks and weighed his head down with rubble. Both boys were released after 8 years, given new idenities and released. What a justice system, eh?

So ask yourself; is there any wonder people are disallusioned with the USA and the UK to the point of bombing us?
I'm not glorifing the terror attacks.
But everyone seems to remember this day.
It'll be on calenders soon.
If it isn't already O.o

Lets add up all the innocents killed by the dictators that the US have put in power around the globe the numbers killed by terrorists would pale into insignificance
I'm not trying to promote the terrorists here though
