I know I've been a slack prick for not updating this blog for so, so long!! Sorry, but lifes been a bit busy!
Almost finished the renovation of this house, and it's looking bloody marvelous! I'll have some final pics up soon for those interested in such things!! I don't need to go away on holidays anymore, I live in a resort!!!! Fuck yeah!!! Been doing this since April 2007, so as you can imagine I'm a bit over it by now! Besides, my attention span aint that long!!!
Also been spending some time and effort to get skinny again! Fuck getting older!!
I've always been able to eat and drink whatever I damn well please and never moved off 77kg, ever!!! That was until about 5 years ago!! and seeing as though most fo my life has been a little hedonistic, It's a bit hard to change!
I woke up one day and saw myself in the mirror! i was getting my father's figure! Love the man, but FUCK!!! I will not be that fat fucking accountant sitting behind a desk all day!!!! not that I'm in the office that much!! (Hey, bet you've never been to your accountant and he's got punk band promo pics on all the walls!!! and I am the 81st biggest accounting business in this country!!!!! Fuck yeah!!! Punk accountants rule!!! We do have great fun at work, I'm the resident punk, there to shock and offend, and my business partner is the extreme sports maniac!!! He's getting a full sleeve tattooed soon!! We are fucking scary accountants!!!)
Well, there's no way I'm giving up the red wine, there's no way I'm giving up the imported beer, or the good restaurants!!! I just dropped bread from the diet, evil stuff, except as a treat, and cut down the meal sizes slightly, and most importantly, no snacks!!!! and also no exercise, I fucking hate exercise, the only exercise I indulge in is sexual, always for extended periods, always very regular and often!!!!
It's taken almost 5 months but I now weigh the same I did when when I was 25!!! Fuck yeah!!!
Back to business, one of my partners is suffering depression and we've been carrying him for the last 7 months that he's been off work! We bought him out and this year, although the credit crisis will fuck up a lot of people, we should ride it out fine! Clients always expect usto work hard, but when things are tough they expect us to work harder!!! All good! My junior partner is the guyI want at my back, anyway! He's the guy that makes sure what I promise clients happens in the office!
I love my life! It's fun!! Living my dream!!
I grew up in not quite abject poverty, but not too far off it! I am the first person from both sides of my family to ever finish high school, let alone get a degree, and 2 post-graduate degrees, amsters in law, etc, etc!! I love study! (No, truth is I'm a stubborn son of a bitch that will not let anything beat me, so of course I passed!!!)
Well, gotta go. I have mates coming to visit over the weekend, so have to go buy the beer!!
