Gah, don't you hate it when you can vividly picture a sctor in your mind but not his name or what movies he was in?

Person I am thinking of has brown hair that is usually in a bowl cut style and is parted evenly on his face. He has a larger nose and is in average shape (little bit large for hollywood standards but not fat). He usually plays mentally deranged villains and has the appearance that he would be some one who would live with his mother into his 40's. He isn't a huge star but he does get good roles. If any one knows who this is please tell me so that I can stop going insane. smile

Short screen plays is what I should write, but I usually try to write short stories with tons of dialogue and little else. I took courses in college for writing (two of them) and one of them had us writing a one minute play and a ten minute play. Basically one page typed (1 inch margins, double spaced, 12 pt font) is one minute.

So do you have to direct a scene you wrote? Or somebody else's? Personally I'd hate to have to direct somebody else's vision. I know you can take the words on the page and make them your own vision, but I'd still like to write it myself.

If you can do your own, I'd start practicing writing screenplays now. Even if you can only write a few minutes a day over vacation, at least it'd give you something to choose from by the time the project starts.
