Do you enjoy psychological/nature horror where you’re not sure whether the main character is gaslighting himself of if he’s not paranoid enough? Then may I recommend the New Zealand film Loop Track, which has a great lead. It may/not be a slow burn depending on your taste but the genre requires some buildup/internal history to set the story and I liked it. Regardless of any of that, I can say I so did _not_ see the ending coming—not what…anyway no spoilers.
