i had a first date last night! it was pretty good, but now i don't really know what to do. she seemed interested, i am certainly interested, but conventional wisdom/all of my friends tell me i need to wait 2-3 days before contacting her again. thats fine, but i'm curious about why this period. if there is one thing i would never consider myself, it is conventional. i don't want to seem creepful, though.
we went to a bar near me, had one drink, then i walked her back to her place. we had really great conversation, much deeper than just topical stuff. we are both writers, so we talked at length about that. we talked about tattoos (why, how, when...she doesn't have any). at the end of it, she initiated a hug (adorable) and asked me if i wanted her number, which i gladly accepted. i don't want to screw up! i've never actaully dated someone before, so i'm kinda lost. a lot. help! if you can...
