I am really getting fed up with my gf. I can't take the negativity anymore. Every day there is something new wrong, there is some new fucking thing that I have to console her about and tell her that everything is going to be ok. How do you do that from 700 miles away? I moved away so that I could go back to school and get my masters. Everything was ok. And now it is constant texts to see where I am, who I am with, what I am doing. We dated long distance before, and now all of a sudden it is psycho time. The negative attitude about everything is so hard to deal with. She is always sick or getting sick. She "knows" she is going to get sick, and you know what? She fucking gets sick! If you tell yourself you are going to be sick, you will be! If you tell yourself you will be well, you will be! If its not getting sick, it is the kids in her art classes. She had to take them on a field trip the other day, and she was all miffed because she had to take them! Its her job! If you don't want to do all of the things that go along with being a teacher, maybe you should try a new field. Most of the texts I get are things like, "uuugghhh, i feel so shitty" or "today really sucked." Those dont make me want to talk to you. I don't expect sunshine and puppy dogs all the time, but every once in a while it would be nice if she said something positive. When I try to talk about this stuff, she gets pissed off and doesnt want to talk about it. I am not confrontational about it, I use "I messages," am not accusatory with things, but it still doesnt go over well. Nobdoy likes to be critcized. Im getting to my breaking point.
In other, more uplifting news, my classes are going really well. I am learning a lot about teaching, and I really don't see how states can allow people to become teachers without any sort of certification program. There is so much to go over and discuss. It is no wonder teachers normally quit after the first 3 years. They weren't prepared!

You should tell her all of this, maybe say in a nicer way so she doesn't get defensive?
