So I missed the sushi fun on Friday night with a few of the SG Canada East members.
Instead of being the totally out of place lonely male with the six ... eight .... umm ... more than two and less than ten beautiful women eating the lovely food of the Gods ... I was sitting in the police station totally blazed, giving a report on the hit and run that I saw.
Which happened outside my friends house as I was sitting having a cigarette on his front steps. His little sister ran down the stairs and crossed the street. I look right and see a van coming ... and instead of telling her to watch out or ANYTHING to try and stop the situation, my dumb ass just sits there and watches the whole thing happen.
Luckily the driver had seen her and tried to stop. She ended up with a broken leg and some minor internal injuries and of course some scrapes and bumps ... but otherwise alright.
Unluckily, once the driver got out and saw that she wasn't dead, he hopped back into the van and drove off, almost hitting her again as she lay in the road.
A short run by me and a written down license plate later (as well as a bowl to calm the nerves), I sat in the police station day dreaming of sweet potato tempura, gyoza and unagi instead of filling out the paper work in front of me.
Between the trip to the hospital and the police station and everything, I didn't end up being free until 10:30, which was a shade late for the 8 pm start of sushi.
So I went to my girlfriends for the weekend, only to watch a raccoon get run over by a car while turning onto her street.
The weekend was filled with car accidents apparently.
New friend Swindy had a small incident of his own and I feel so bad for him. Meeting him once and seeing how he interacted with us strangers, I can already tell just how he is feeling and I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy let alone a friend.
Please go to his journal and leave him some hugs and stuff. I'm sure he will appriciate it.
As for me ... I am apparently an effeminate snazzy fag ... so yeah - I've got that going for me. Thanks Rowan and Lucy ... each comment made me laugh quite hard, which was needed today. You didn't even know how much that meant to me.
But now you do. Yay.
I love pot.
