Soooooo ... went to a friends place last night, smoked up as usual and went on my merry way home.
Background info - I live a street away from said friend. In between my street and her street is a park with two schools. A pathway goes between the two streets for access to the schools.
Now ... this field/school yard is the site of three of the six times I've had a gun pulled on me ... so I'm always a little weary of the park at night. But it is a straight route home and much quicker than going down to the main street and across up to my street. Saves me about 5-10 minutes going through the park.
So, I start walking through the park until
I heard a lot of voices (by a lot, I mean three. And that is more than what made me comfortable at the time), so I walked to the nearest baseball diamond and sat down, making it look like I was waiting for someone.
I scanned the park and found the three people - all sitting on a bench kitty coner to me about 150-200 feet away.
So I decided to stay where I was for a bit ... see what played out. I pulled out my bowl and smoked one while I waited.
When I finished the bowl, I looked around and noticed down by the far end of the park, where I'd have to walk to get to my house, there was a guy walking back and forth, looking my way and trying to hide behind a tree.
Long way it was then. I didn't want to take any chances. 5-10 minutes extra is WAY better than dead.
So I get to my street and notice there are three police cars parked a few houses away from mine. Just what I like ... walking past cops while high and stinking like pot.
So anyways, I get to my house, walk in and stop dead in my tracks. There are two police officers in my living room and there I am completely red. Oh yay ... it's my lucky day.
I said a polite hello and went straight to my room. I was freaked.
Turns out my dad had to call the cops because there was a male and female fighting at the end of my drive way ... and apparently they were going at it pretty good. My dad is the type that would go out and break something like that up ... but he thought better of it and called the cops.
The cops apparently found the girl and said she looked pretty beat up. They wanted to help her, but she told them to fuck off and mind their own business.
So yeah ... I love my neighbourhood. I decide not to go through a park for fear of safety and find out that there was a big fight in front of my house.
You know ... in some ways I'm really glad I'm moving in a few months.

Sheesh guys shouldn't beat girls up. When guys try that with me, I set them on fire. Or chase them with knives. But I'm a nice person really I am.
Everyone hates our country cuz of Bush now. He kinda makes Texans look dumb. And half of all us didn't vote for the fucker in the first place
