Ok I see this music quiz going around, and I love music, so I'll have a go at it.
1. Favorite band/artist?
So many, it's hard to pin one down. Joy Division/New Order, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, B-52s are some I can think of at the moment.
2. Favorite song All time or Recent?
Again, hard to pin one down, if I made a list, there would be well over 3000-4000 at least. "Atmosphere" by Joy Division is one that resonates with me, the music and lyrics pretty much describe my feelings when I'm feeling depressed.

3. Favorite album?
So many. Recent favorites include Getz/Gilberto, Kind of Blue, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, The Dark Side of the Moon...
4. First concert?
Not including the concerts played by local bands in my childhood neighborhood, I'd say it was when the school dragged our class to see the Detroit Symphony Orchestra when I was 8. π»
5. Last concert you went to?
Shonen Knife (ε°εΉ΄γγ€γ) a few years back when they came to Detroit.
6. Favorite concert?
The ones at small venues where I can stand near the stage. Stadium concerts aren't as fun.
7. Who do you wish you could see live
If I could go back in time, I'd enjoy seeing the pre-Darkside Pink Floyd. π
8. What music did you grow up with?
Having boomers for parents, they always had the "oldies" station on so it was stuff from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s. As I got older and could spend my allowance on records, my tastes evolved to be more modern.
9. How do you find new music?
When people recommend stuff to me, or reading about a great album, and wanting to hear it.
10. How do you listen to music?
Mainly from vinyl and from FLAC files I've ripped from CDs, otherwise I pick songs or listen to whole albums on youtube when I'm at work.
11. Any new albums you're looking forward to?
At the moment, nope.
12. Favorite movie soundtrack?
It would have to be a toss-up between Star Wars & the Godfather.
13. Last one for fun do you like to sing when you listen to music?
I do when I'm alone, just for fun.
I'll tag @asloke , @amoxi , @brubs , @cheshire_ , @rainedemure , and @samihain π
