Well what month it's been, we have had our best month in business beating our old record by more than 23 written deals. We also started a new telemarketer/appointment setter who was more then instrumental in getting us across the line, so in the space of six months we have gone from the 2nd to last Signature Dealer to (drum roll please) the second highest dealer in the country, so I am feeling a little smug right about now.
That is I was until this morning at about 0730 when I received the news from one of our guards, that vandals had pushed over a dozen portaloos on the estate that we are meant to be guarding.
This is after I had convened an emergency meeting with our entire security team at 1800 the previous evening, to encourage them to be on the top of their game, as we have been targeted by pyromaniacs over the last two Friday nights. The wankers had set fire to a number of large plastic road barriers. Ending up with us having to call the Fire Brigade, Police and Energex and of course also managing in pissing off our client, who was starting to think that I had employed a bunch of incompetent fucks, which as it turns out.......
My encouragement seems to have worked about as well as a council road crew, still what really pissed me off was not that the guard on duty didn't manage to catch or even deter the pricks that pushed over the loos or that she didn't even notice their car drive right by the guard house at 0330 in the morning, but she didn't even bother to call me when she discovered the fuck up, or to ask me to come and help clean up the mess before workers showed up, instead she left it for the day shift to handle, thus securing her place on the dole cue quick fast and in a hurry.
Fuck it is hard to find good help, so anyway if you are looking for a full time job in security here's your chance. I am desperate and waiting for your call.
OK so my week hasn't been all bad, I also got word from a friend (it was midnight on Thursday night and he was in a bit of a tizz, hehe oops) that his call centre in the Philippines has lost a major contract and is now totally exposed and open for a take over at very silly rates, so to cut a long story down to a manageable size, it would appear that I have an opportunity to exploit his misfortune (at some benefit to him I might add, I am not a total prick after all) and may be off to Manila later next week to secure this deal.

Anyway it is great to see the SGAU Ball coming along so nicely, it is shaping up to be a top night out, can't wait.
