So many good things today.
Slept in and read Wuthering Heights for a while. So much better than I even remembered. Emily Brontë is a master of her art. Can't get enough of her exquisite composition.
Then I read that my publisher Caveworks Press just got an Iowa Arts Council grant to publish a noteworthy poet, Ray Young Bear. On top of being proud of and excited for her, it's also an esteem boost for myself to be on the same small press as a significant elder.
Did the dishes, had a good lunch. Wrote an editorial I'm really proud of. Walked a mile to work in delicious autumn weather. Charmed.
And tonight, more Brontë! Huzzah!
