"Grandpa bought a rubber" (sung)
I was listening to Steve Martin this morning while getting ready. I'll never tire of his antics.
Yesterday I was going to help my sister load up a truck to move, but she changed the reservation, so tonight I shall help instead. This instead of losing money while getting very drunk at poker. I'm curious as to how long of a night this will be, or, more to the point, I'm curious as to how much of their stuff is actually packed up, and how much time will be spent watching them pack. I'm not too worried though, because, as Dane said, he mainly wants me there to help with the big objects, like his TV.
This morning I'm feeling rather chipper. I've got what would appear to be a perfect life. Its funny, as content as I so often am with life, I'm amazed at how much better it can get with the most minor of changes.
New girl working in my office today. I'm curious as to her reaction to her boss. The guy is the sweetest lawyer to ever work for. So gentle, kind and genuine. He's also a fantastically intelligent guy. He is truly a rarity in the legal profession. But he's also socially inept, and to make his social matters worse, he struggles with a stuttering problem. The way people react to him in general, is a very good way to determine the type of person they are. It will be weird when it is no longer my sister working in this office down the hall from me. Crazy.
Well, that's all kiddies, I've got work to do, and M&Ms to eat.
